Beauty Parlours are public research meetings in preparation of a Me! Me! Me! (Ik! Ik! Ik!), an exhibition about self-representation on the net, starting in June 2008 at Mediamatic.

Every week we invited an inspiring lecturer, who spoke about self representation from his or her area of expertise. The presentations were followed by discussion.
