In his project PIERTOPOLIS Guzman is looking for links and collection globally to draw attention to his utopian ideal city model Piertopolis in which art, artists and society are connected to each other and the world in an interactive way. PIERTOPOLIS gives art a significant and indispensable role in the social and political process of an ideal global society.

At GEMAK the project reaches its preliminary conclusion. PIERTOPOLIS is inspired by artists such as Constant, in particular his New Babylon project, and the work of artist Bas Jan Ader and theorist/architect Richard Buckminster (Bucky) Fuller.
