FR 26.10.12 – SUN 02.12.12

The Subgenderal Research Centre of the Liminal Being(s) is the manifestation of modern man in search of the perfect self. Ancient structures provide us with a blueprint for the relationships between us as functioning human beings today in society. We lend these structures from archetypes. In comparison Botticelli’s Venus does not differ all that much from Cher and a Las Vegas hotel lobby possesses the same sanctity as past sectarian temples.

Just like liminal beings we are in a constant state of ‘in between’, of purgatory. It is a life on the road where endless options are presented to us but leave us no choice. Of all things, it’s mainly the in animation what fascinates us. Because how can real life refer to a reference which we only experienced from cinema yet never actually felt?

Visit our centre and you shall be subjected to one of many tests with the single purpose of knowing the being. May it be clear that confusion will arise, and all the better: long live the confusion for it provides us with new compositions of elements, new visions.

Let us celebrate reality’s holy fragmentation!
Let us dig without ever finding anything!
Let us compare with nothing to match!
