The book covers recent developments in the behavior of users of new media.

The first part of the book looks at some recent developments in user behavior, new media and European users: new media in European households, changes in the viewing of television. In the second part we look at the user (new) technology through the eyes of the provider. The third part deals with a specific theme in the relationship between providers and users, namely the accessibility of information: inequality in cyberspace, the presence or exclusion of the elderly in the information.
