Irma is an interdisciplinary visual artist from Rotterdam with a background in Fine Art, Scenography and Body Work. She specializes in making plaster body masks of women. Through the material and physical touch she communicates with the body. This process is an intimate ritual in which she sheds the sculptures back to the earth as an offering. She shares this through performance and photo/video documentation. In this way she pays tribute to her, (and our) body.
