Where to start measuring? is a multidisciplinary evening with installation art, poetry, live music, dj's, and a publication launch. We will introduce you to the current and the future highest point of the Netherlands and explore Amsterdam as zero point.

Where to start measuring? is part of the project 'Can one take the top of(f) a mountain?'. This project explores the shifting of the highest point of Holland from Vaalserberg to Mount Scenery (an extinct volcano on Saba), when the Dutch Antilles are dissolved on 10-10-10.

A series of events will follow. In Amsterdam, in Vaals and on Saba.

Where?

Delicatessen in the Indische Buurt. Great little project space run by Nieuwe Anita / Pageturner's Bas Jacobs. Sumatrastraat 32 (side street of Javastraat).

When?

Friday June 25. Doors open at 18.00 with some mellow Caribbean tunes by Max Cole. Food, live music and poetry later in the evening.

Can one take the top of(f) a mountain is planning another showing on December 1st. Project by Emilia Bergmark, Evelyn Austin, Peter Sattler, Tommie Leisink.
