Make Italian sausages from scratch

A crash course for meat lovers

F@ff chefs Robert Bochove and Andrea Sossi will teach you how to make delicious hearty Italian sausages from scratch. They will guide you through all the steps, from grinding the meat to seasoning, to barbecuing the sausages. We'll leave the eating to you. The workshop takes place between 14:00 and 17:00. Costs are a valid membership plus €7,50 (to be paid in cash on location). If you'd rather not get your hands dirty, homemade sausages are for sale for €5,-.

Freezing Favela

Freezing Favela is a temporary city at Mediamatic Fabriek. The Fabriek is situated in the Van Gendthallen on Oostenburg, Amsterdam. The space is big, unheated, and the roof leaks. Designers, cooks and other makers have been given the possibility to claim part of this space as their own. They work autonomously from their workshop- or project space, but like in any other community, materials, space, and functions have to be shared. Favela citizens are making tosti's from scratch, paper from cow dung, furniture from cardboard, and food from our aquaponics farm. They give workshops, organize get-togethers, and serve food. We are open on Wednesdays and Sundays from 14:00 to 17:00. Entrance with a valid membership (€5,- for 4 weeks). Kids half price.
