Miodrag Krkobabić

Miodrag finished a Bachelor and Master at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, Serbia, where he is currently completing a doctorate.

In 2003 he won DAAD - the German Academic Exchange Price and got a scholarship to specialize in audiovisual compositions and media design.

From 2006 to 2010 Miodrag was artistic director of the Memorial of Nadežda Petrović, the oldest and one of the most important fine art manifestations in the regions of former Yugoslavia. It’s a unique monument dedicated to Nadežda Petrović (1873 – 1915) who can bee seen as the Serbian creator of modern art.

The Serbian newspaper Politika without permission used his video installation “6=36”. They published stills from the video work in Le Monde implying a suspicious relation between America and Taliban.
