At ESA Christophe is working as the coordinator of Melissa Project, a future life support system for long term manned space missions, a lunar base or a mission to Mars.

Christophe Lasseur is the ESA Life Support R&D Coordinator and the
Head of MELiSSA project.
He is a certified instructor of ESA astronauts for Life support domain
Chairman of the International Life Support working Group, ( NASA, ESA, JAXA,CSA) and an European representative to the ISS Medical Panel ( MMOP Microbial subgroup).
His formation includes a PhD in Bioengineering from the Universite de Technologie de Compiegne ( UTC France) and a previous study at
Ecole Centrale d'Electronique de Paris.
