Catering
Our on-site restaurant TestTafel offers plant-based, hyper-local menu prepared with ingredients from our greenhouse and nearby farms. From multi-course dinners to receptions and gatherings, TestTafel offers flexible catering options that complement every kind of event.

Accessibility
Mediamatic Biotope is located on Oosterdok in Dijkspark, at the head of Dijksgracht, a 10-minute walking distance from Amsterdam Central Station. Our location is easily accessible by bike, public transport, car, and boat. While parking space on the premises is limited, there are nearby parking garages connected to public transportation. Equipment
Depending on your needs, we can offer various packages for audio and visual equipment. From simple presentation setups with microphones, projectors, and amplification to complete sound systems for musical events.
Furniture
Each space can be furnished according to your preferences. We offer a wide range of furniture, including tables, benches, desks, chairs, and a small wardrobe. Additional furniture can be rented.
Tours
Would you like to learn more about Mediamatic? During a tour, we take you through our program and art installations. You'll learn about our background as a cultural institution, the potential of microorganisms and bio-based materials, how to grow your own food in the city, and the development of the Dijkspark area. A tour lasts between 30-60 minutes, depending on your preference.
Boats
It is possible to temporarily moor your own boat.
Large-scale Events
If you need more space or a multi-day/full-day program, we can collaborate with our neighbors: Bureau Marine Terrein Amsterdam, Rederij Lampedusa, Hannekes Boom, Shaffy's Tuin, the Conservatorium, Pakhuis de Zwijger, and Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ.
