ON TRACK develops an ironic lens to look at the convolutions of our global transport and production systems, and with them, the waste of resources as a logical, yet paradoxical consequence.

The instrument of the broom becomes a metaphor for a bigger world order. Together with an eager troop of domestic robots, the machine-protagonists are subjected to the instructions of an intricate choreography. Destined to clean and to maintain, the two systems are hindered, interfere and eventually fail – a process gone off track. At this round table, for the first time, the machinery and its emergent processes are presented and discussed.

The project is an interdisciplinary collaboration between Linda Dement (AU), Petra Gemeinboeck (A/AU), PRINZGAU/ podgorschek A and Marion Tränkle (NL/D)
