Jan Winkelmann (1967, Germany) is an art critic and former curator at
Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst Leipzig. On October 2nd 2003
he will launch a new gallery in Plamen Dejanoff's former studio at
Hackeschermarkt 2 in Berlin. This venue will function as an
'ouverture' to the official opening of the gallery in 2004 in Düsseldorf.
On the occasion of Plamen Dejanoff's new installation in Quarantine
Jan Winkelmann was invited to talk about the work of this artist
and the development of his own gallery Jan Winkelmann/Düsseldorf.
