Defining the Space

part one of the space series

22 Oct 2005
7 Jan 2006

Besides being part of the space series, the exhibition is also placed in the context of the Creative Play, Productive Fun theme. But to finally get to it, the featured artists include Janis Ponisch, Peter Distrol, Rita van der Vegt, Dror Stavisky, and GJ Mulder.

Janis Ponisch will present his graduation project Dynamic terrain, a working proposal for computer controlled moving architecture which at the moment represents a surface which reacts to hard and soft pressure by moving towards or away from the pressure. At the moment Dynamic terrain uses electric drills, perhaps in the future it will use something new.
GJ Mulder will present SOCO button navigator, a web interface which uses buttons as a central design element, Wille Eilers will present a spatial mural and painted bar seating.

And much more.

The next collections in the series will be
Utilizing the Space
Redefining the Space
and Drawing Conclusions.
