With:

The workshop will include:

- Using the JunXion
software to setup usb game controllers and the Wii remote as midi controllers, to be used with any music or VJ hardware / software
- In introduction in the live sampling software
- A hands-on music session in which we will learn how to use game controllers as musical instruments

The workshop is suitable for DJ's, electronic musicians, artists and VJ's at any level. Please bring your own records, sound files or acoustic instruments to sample, as well your computer with your favorite VJ / music software, usb game controllers and Wii remotes

Ivo Bol

is a composer and sound artist who makes sound installations and music with game controllers. He has composed music for film, dance, and theatre performances.

Practical Information

Age: 8 to 88 years, maximum number of participants: 8. Language: Dutch or English. Musical experience is helpful but not necessary.
