The festival selection aims to highlight works of both students and professionals. In addition, a podium will be available for internet and interactive documentaries.
The Shadow Festival, now in its seventh year, is an activity of the Shadow Foundation which aims to accent creative filmmaking in the Netherlands. With ever-increasing public attendance and collaboration with internationally accalimed filmmakers, photographers and artists, the festival is reassured of the need for a critical podium. We are indeed grateful to the public and filmmakers who have repeatedly attended the festival. In addition to the support within the Netherlands we are very happy with the gracious support of those who come from abroad, especially to attend the festival.
