Fablab Amsterdam offers you the opportunity to build your personal 3D printer and learn all there is to know about 3D printing. After an introduction of the Fablab and the basics of 3D printing, you will learn how to set up a model for printing (day 1). In the next three days you will build your own printer, this is a model based on Orca (RepRap Mendel). On the last day (day 5) you will be printing your model(s) and get a hands-on troubleshooting on operating your 3D printer.

For whom?
The summer school is available for maximum of 16 participants. We ask you to bring your own laptop and a 3D model, that you would like to print.

Price
Full course, including the parts for 3D printer, costs € 1.650,- excl. VAT per person. Want to build a printer together? No problem, the price is € 2.250,- for 2 persons, including the parts for one printer. The summer school will only continue with a minimum of 8 participants.

Participation
After you registered for the Fablab Summer school, you will receive an invoice as soon as we have a total of at least 8 participants. The invoice has to be paid before the Summer school starts. Registrations have to be received before 1 August 2012. If we do not reach the minimum number of participants, you will be notified in the first week of August.
