Four artists in a bunker

Atlantic Ocean Drive is a project in which eight visual artists (six based in the Netherlands, one based in Mexico and one based in Colombia) have been invited to develop an exhibition together. The project starts with two evenings of artist talks, moderated by Vincent van Velsen. This weeks artists are: Raphael Langmair, Ian de Ruiter, Sarah Verbeek and Felicia Von Zweigbergk. The artists participating in Atlantic Ocean Drive are: Carlos Alfonso, Marcel van den Berg, Ricardo Alzati, An Ngo, Raphael Langmair, An Ngo, Ian de Ruiter, Sarah Verbeek and Felicia Von Zweigbergk. The project takes place during the month of August. Each artist will give a short presentation relating to their work or interest. As a side program the A.O.D. Beam-club will be screening films about curious encounters every Sunday in August at 20:30. This Sunday 'Sherman's March' (Ross McElwee, 1985, US, 157 min.) will be screened. The project will conclude with a three day exhibition which will open on August 23 at 19:00 and will run until August 25. All the events will take place at the Vondelbunker in the Vondelpark.
