Timothy Weaver is a new media artist and former life scientist whose concerted objective has been to contribute to the remediation of the collective ecological memory at the art | technology interface. Timothy’s recent projects have been featured at Transmediale (Berlin), FILE & FILE HIPERSONICA (Rio & Sao Paulo), New Forms Festival (Vancouver), European Media Arts Festival, Korean Experimental Arts Festival (Seoul) and at Boston CyberArts, SIGGRAPH (LA), and the New York Digital Salon.

Weaver is Assistant Professor of eMAD and Digital Media Studies at the University of Denver, Denver, Colorado USA. Weaver’s research areas include biomedia, biomimetic art, emerging forms of interactivity and immersivity and sustainable design strategies.
