NEW AT MEDIAMATIC
Marieke just joined us yesterday, she will be our Biolab Coordinator. She has a background in science, visual communication and cooking, so it’s not hard for her to understand everything we do!
EXCURSION!
We are going to Micropia tomorrow! We are meeting at 12:45 and joining a guiding tour as soon as we arrive. After that, there is a leaving party for Ni Nan, Nina, Luca, Amy and Sam - fun day!
MUSHROOM WORKSHOPS STOPPED
It has been so great with the mushroom workshops, they are popular and fun, and we all know that we wanted to concentrate on developing the potential of mushrooms. But unfortunately, they have to be stopped for now until we have found a suitable person to do it… Let’s hope it will happen soon!
KIDS WORKSHOP COMING UP
Kids Workshop: Schilderen met levende beestjes is happening this Saturday. Participating children
can learn how to draw with bacteria and make their own growing petri-dish painting. It is quite interesting, BUT there are space free! If you know some kiddies who would be interested, send them our way!
GARDENING PROJECT
The project that Alexandra, Eise and Eef are working on, with the German artist Jasmin Moeller is temporary named as De Realiteit van Theorie. When the project is realized, visitors will be able to walk through the garden, and plant seeds into the flower bed by answer the questions they got from a card. It is indeed a very interesting project, and in the end, the garden will somewhat reflect what the participants think, whether they are the romantics, the modernist or //the Beaux Arts. PORTRAITS OF US IN THE MAKING
Our Illustrator Kylie is now working on portraits of our whole team! Exciting! She still needs to take photos of each of us, but I can't wait for mine!
