PART-TIMERS
A few of us have gone part-time these 2 weeks! Alexandra, Anne and Mirelle are doing only 2 to 3 days a week, so if you need something from them, better check their schedules in advance or reach for people who are working with them in the same sections, namely Eise, Eef, Ruben and Bart.
NEW INTERNS
As mentioned above, apart from Joe-ann who just left for Paris, a few of us have gone part-time. So it makes natural sense that there are a few new people on board: Bart Mulder is taking over some of Mirelle’s tasks as a graphics intern; Melissa from Berlin just joined the Mycelium team; Nandi van Look is helping with the restaurant and beehives development.
NEW WARDROBE
As we already knew, we have a new wardrobe upstairs just to the right of the office, so please use it for the coats (not magazines)!
BEVRIJDINGSDAG
On 5 May, Bevrijdingsdag, there will also be celebration here in Mediamatic. It is in the planning to have a big meal with our neighbours at Dijksgracht, more information about that is on the way, but at least now we know, the opening of our new project Twijfel Zaaien, i.e. Casting Doubts will be on the same day!
BIERBERAAD AGAIN!
Bierberaad: Beer, Brett and Braumeisters is taking place again next Friday, during which healthy/ unhealthy beer prejudices, (non-) brett yeast strains and ‘Trois’ beer will be discussed, together with a few other interesting things in the programme.
