Printing Algae, Fungi and Contaminations

Biotalk: Wednesday 20 May.

This is what happens when four young female (fashion) designers start working with living materials. Rasa Weber from Studio Blond&Bieber prints with micro-algae, Tessa Kuipers silkscreens with fungi, Studio Nienke Hoogvliet uses leftover fish skin to create garments and Tamara Hoogeweegen personalises clothes with her own contaminations. Biotalk: Printing Algae, Fungi and Contamination explores the aesthetic and creative potential of micro-organisms for textile development and fashion design.

Doors open at 20:00, talks start at 20:30. Get your tickets now and join the facebook event. Students pay only €5,00!
