Become a fungal designer

Workshop, Wednesday 24 June.

The primary role of fungus in an ecosystem is to decompose organic matter. But mycelium has tremendous other potential. The Oyster Mushroom for instance can be used to clean up contaminants in the environment and can function as a sort of biological filter. We offer you the chance to follow into the footsteps of designers like Maurizio Montalti and Katharina Unger and start working with mycelium yourself. In this introductory workshop you will learn the basics of cultivating mushrooms and mycelium at home.

Take a look at this video by Phill Ross to see mycelium in it's full potential.
