Just about every time we pick something in the greenhouse, Saro says "That would make wonderful juice..." But whatever I'd harvested was already on its way into a risotto or curry. Juicing vegetables is pretty popular, but juicing our New Zealand spinach would never have occurred to me.
But one day we had quite a pile of unassigned spinach, so we tossed it in the slow juicer to see what would happen. We also juiced a bunch of apples, a lemon, and some ginger, and blended together the result was delicious. And it was probably the healthiest thing some of us enjoyed all week.
