RAINPROOF RAVE & RIDE: Resilient cities need resilient people.

Why Sunday November 1st?

On Saturday October 31, it is World Cities Day, raising public awareness of global urbanization. From 2-6 November, Amsterdam hosts the Amsterdam International Water Week, with 25,000 international politicians, CEOs and water-experts discussing how cities can become resilient and prepare for climate change. Resilient cities need resilient & resourceful people. That's why, on November 1st, the RAINPROOF RAVE & RIDE will briefly claim the title of water capital of the world for Amsterdam, thus kicking off Amsterdam International Water Week for the people living in the city.

The RAINPROOF RAVE & RIDE is organised by OneWorld along with Amsterdam Rainproof, AIWW and many more green, rainproof initiatives and Amsterdammers! Kick off will be at Mediamatic Biotoop. After that a parade will bike to dam square to build a POP-UP park there.
