Pavèl van Houten
Honouring dust, the tiny particles that function as physical reminder of everything that has ever happened at a specific location. Pavel will speak about his current exhibition Stofpluizen, which will be exhibited at Mediamatic from 17 - 24 October.
About the problematic effects of the new 'aanlandplicht'. A rule that forces fisherman to bring their by-catch to land.
Opening Exhibition: Stofpluizen
This day also marks the opening of the temporary exhibition: Stofpluizen. A collection of dust that was collected here at our Biotoop. By magnifying the results you are able to see the beautiful shapes and colours of the dust particles and gain insight into is composition. The dust samples were sent to a laboratory in order to determine it's consistence. And guess what.. one of the samples holds a mystery particle! Which still needs to be defined.
