The space was created in order to establish a place to show high-quality national and international exhibits, but also as a public setting open to the public that would allow establishing a close and fruitful dialogue between art and

the people, as well as to be a rendezvous for the diverse cultural manifestations of the country and Santa Cruz. Manzana 1 Espacio de Arte has already turned into a leading gallery at the local and national level, becoming a key setting for the cultural life in Santa Cruz and setting an example of what Santa Cruz generates in terms of culture. Manzana 1 Espacio de Arte is undoubtedly the most visited cultural space in the country.
