Candidate for a Master of Fine Arts degree at Ohio State's Department of Industrial, Interior and Visual Communication Design.

I am originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and worked as an interaction designer for over 7 years. I am now pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree at Ohio State's Department of Industrial, Interior and Visual Communication Design (Columbus, Ohio, USA).

Before coming to The Ohio State University I worked as an Interaction Designer for Siemens Corporate Reesarch in Princeton, New Jersey (USA).

My main research interest lies in exploring innovative interactions by creating experiences that go beyond the current keyboard/mouse/screen paradigm and how to integrate the physical and digital worlds in a way that it is transparent and natural to users.

My goal is to explore how to better augment physical spaces and objects with digital information and processing capabilities in order to make the user experience go beyond what mere form offers. I am specially interested in combining physical interaction design with remote communication networks.
