Lending a hand and learning
The enormous installation Fashion Machine is an art project by designer Conny Groenewegen. She and the FAMA team set out to create an endless thread made out of 2000 kilos of cut post-consumer fleece sweaters, to wrap the entire building in knitting.
Attention cutting and knitting enthusiasts and team playing cooks: The workshop Cut the Crap is the perfect opportunity to collaborate with fashion designers and enthusiastic volunteers in a warm community. You will also dive into matters of fashion, hand-knotting techniques, sustainability and recycling. Plus, as a team member you can attend unique and festive FAMA (Fashion Machine) events and will receive a special edition Fashion Machine T-shirt!
