The newest addition to Mediamatic's Biotoop: The Aroma Lab. This is a working space for scent distillation. The DIY olfactory lab was initiated by Klara Ravat and Mediamatic, when Ravat was an artist in residence at the Biotoop. Separated from our Clean lab, where sometimes stinky bacterial processes lead the way, this space is only meant to support nice scents. There will be workshops, public activities, artist meet-ups en the possibility to do your own experiments.
