How to use the Drive

On the Google Drive you can find documents of former colleagues and make your own shared documents. Please try to keep the amount of documents and spreadsheets to a minimum, as with too many overviews loose their functionality.

You can get to the drive by going here and by logging in with your Mediamatic email address and password.
If you are looking for older documents you can search at the top where it says Search Drive.
Be aware, there is a big chance that a file is not "shared" with you and thus you cannot find it.

Please ask the Programme Manager for the document you are looking for, as she/he can mostly invite you.

When you have been invited to a folder that you think you might use more often, right click on it and click Add to My Drive.
This way it is easy to find it later.

Shared Folder

How to make a document in a shared folder that you want be accessible for everyone:

  1. Go to the shared folder
  2. Click New
  3. Choose what you want (Folder, Document, Sheet, etc.)
  4. The question Create in a shared folder? pops up
  5. Click create and share
