One of the participants wrapped in a Shroud

How would you like to be tucked in before going into the ground? Things are changing in the funeral world. Music is not only choirs and organs anymore. Graveyards do not have to be located next to churches. And coffins do not necessarily to be made from wood. As our believes shift, the materials we choose around death also change. It is a crucial time for designers to come up with new rituals, spaces and other death-related designs.

If you actually want to be composted, it is better to be buried in a material that easily dissolves. The same thing goes for resomation, but in this case, the cloth around your body has to be a natural fiber, like wool or silk. The word for this cloth is (death) Shroud and has a bit of forgotten history. Read more here.
