Update from our Supervisory Board

Dear friends and relations,

We consider Mediamatic to be an inclusive and equal opportunity organization. There is no place at Mediamatic for sexual and/or physical intimidation. Behavior that represents these forms of intimidation will not be tolerated.

 

Allegations have been made towards one of our directors. This comes within the context of accusations in the larger art world. Hereby the supervisory board of Mediamatic wants to inform you we have commissioned an independent inquiry regarding the working conditions at our organization. We would like to invite everyone who wants to contribute to this inquiry to contact Anne Baker of ABConsultancy (annebakerconsultancy@gmail.com). If you have any information that would benefit the inquiry, please do not hesitate to contact her. All contributions will be completely confidential and handled with care. Please submit your contribution before December 9th.

Allegations have been made towards one of our directors. This comes within the context of accusations in the larger art world. The supervisory board have discussed this issue and have decided to commission an independent and immediate inquiry to determine the background and validity of the allegations.

 

The supervisory board will take action if and where needed.

 

We have discussed the situation with the current employees of Mediamatic, and will have a counselor available to the team.

During this inquiry period, Jans Possel will head Mediamatic.
