Thisath Thoradeniya

Thisath Throadeniya is a visual artists based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Belonging to a new generation of artists who emerged in the post 90s period whose art is influenced by the ideological and methodological transformations that took place in the 1990s in Sri Lankan visual art, Thisath Thoradeniya's work focuses on the allure of the contemporary electronic apparatus. A member of Theertha International Artists Collective, an artists led initiative that support experimental art, Thisath works as the coordinator of Theertha's international art program.
