Hook your very own amigurumi mushrooms!

Amigurumi is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small stuffed animals and anthropomorphic creatures. The word is derived from a combination of the Japanese words ami, meaning crocheted or knitted, and nuigurumi, meaning stuffed doll.

This project is crocheted in a spiral formation. The magic ring or adjustable ring technique is a way to get the initial round very tight, with no center hole. Alternately, you could chain 3, slip stitch into the first chain, then sc 6 into the loop to create round one.

  • red yarn

  • polyfil
  • ribbon
