The Tupajumi foundation teamed up with Mediamatic to organize the eleventh FITAX edition taking place in Europe, offering an alternative way of wheeling and dealing art in Amsterdam. The goal of the event was the direct exchange of artworks (worth approximately €500) between collectors and artists, or among artists without any money. You could register on Tupajumi's website.

This isa the perfect moment to start or renew a collection, or to simply swap your artwork for someone else's. The FITAX 500 was also a nice opportunity to meet other artists and curators and to get your work noticed. You could bring your artwork to Mediamatic Fabriek on Sunday December 2. The Art Trade Fair took place on December 2, from 13.00 to 17.00 at Mediamatic Fabriek. Build-up was from 13.00 to 15.00, the art trade fair started at 15.00. You could trade free entrance for a chore like an hour of barkeeping or half an hour of vacuum cleaning. If you wanted to pay with money it's €5,- for a membership including free entrance for a month. Kids half price.

This event was part of Ruilen, an exhibition and series of events from October 20 to January 6. Open Wednesday through Sunday, from 13.00 to 18.00.
