Milena Sidorova

Soloist at the Dutch National Ballet. Started dancing at the age of three and professionally trained from eight, studied for six years at the Kiev State Choreographic School and after wining the Prix De Lausanne scholarship - at the Royal Ballet School in London, which graduated from in 2005 with honors.

At the age of 13 has won 2nd Prize of the Artek International Competition, a year later received Grand Prix, at the age 14 as the youngest competitor of Moscow International Ballet Competition received 3rd Prize also Press Prize and Grishko Prize. At 15 won Prix De Lausanne scholarship and Prix Des Téléspectateurs.

A few month later received Ukrainian National Flame of Prometheus prize and the title Person of the Year in the nomination Youth Talent of Ukraine.

In the years to come received several awards and grants such as 1st place at International Youth Ballet Festival in Kiev, scholarship at Reuseta Mauri competition (Spain) and Arnold Haskell Prize (London).

Started choreographing at the age of 13 ("The Spider"), after an immediate success pursued this direction further and made several other works such as "Full Moon" (2001), "The Naked Truth" (2002), "Kostadinka" (2008), "Etude For The Left Leg" (2009), "Reality Conundrum" (2009)

Received the following awards for choreography: 2002 Serge Lifar International Competition (Diploma for the Youth Talent); 2004 Ursula Moreton choreographic Award (3rd Place); 2004 Choreographic Development Award.
