Mycoinsulation panel experiments, where we found unwanted fructification from the substrate. This occurs because the mycelium has been exposed to light, the temperature may have dropped and perhaps too much moister, thus 'shocking' it into fructification. We must improve our incubator set-up to avoid this in the next patch of experiments.
This little guy grew horizontally because he was restricted by the cling film we wrapped around the growing panel. Looks funky though!
