Creative Cities, was the projectmanager for the Westergasfabriek
I allways try to have my picinics in a park. The first park is the Westergasfabriek park where I worked for almost 15 years as a project manager and where Kathryn Gustafson did the design. Today it is Noorderpark, also in Amsterdam where I work with another world famous landscape architect, this time Adriaan Geuze from West 8.
A wonderful place to have a picnic as well is the garden of the Tolhuis, directly across Central Station, today still in use with Shell. Starting in 2008 this aoasis will be a new public space in Amsterdam. Working with Nathalie de Reus we are planning a temporary use here.
