Description

Lamium Album, or white dead nettle, is a perennial and part of the lamiaceae or labiatae family. It blooms May - December and is found in grassy clearings, woodland edges, and fields.

White dead nettle is used to stop intermenstrual bleeding, as well as reduce heavy menstruation. An  infusion can be used to treat kidney and bladder issues, diarrhoea, painful menstruation, bleeding after childbirth, and painful or abnormal vaginal discharges. The young leaves can be eaten raw or cooked and provide a healthy dosage of vitamin A. The flowers can also be used to make a tea.
