Tomoko Take omschrijft haar project als volgt:
'The homelesshome project is based on the understanding that small solutions can influence big problems and shape/change the world around us. I believe that being an artist is a profession that attempts to conceive things from an area close to the human being and this project follows a unique approach that rejects superficial events, phenomenon, and social systems. Instead questioning and commenting on more fundamental things such as the essence of human beings and deeper aspects of events. This project has an influence for a large part of the logical consequence of the lack of a 'home' as a result of the life in the public arena.'
