Elmaks, a local street artist in Ottawa, Canada.
What?
A street art project that is inspired by the artists interest in found objects. He started placing boxes al around his hometown, Ottawa, with the line “Take Somethin’, Leave Somethin’ “. The boxes were already art in itself and next to that he captured the activity at these boxes which became an interesting blog.
Why?
Combining art and swapping, Elmaks creates an interaction between people which looks really nice. Also the documentation is inspiring and the whole project gives room to a broad interpretation.
