He is also co-founder of Electronic Iraq, a news portal on the US-Iraq crisis, and since the summer of 2006, Electronic Lebanon. Fassed is a human rights policy advisor. He has worked for several human rights organizations in the occupied Palestinian territories and two Dutch development organizations. He has published articles in The Washington Post, European Voice, Toronto Star, and various other national and international newspapers and journals. His photos have been used for several book covers and in Harper's Magazine.
