On December 1 2014, Mediamatic moved to their new location at Dijksgracht 6. Here, on this great terrain near the waterside (within walking distance from Central Station!), we will start with the realization of Biotoop Dijksgracht and continue and intensify our focus on all that is designed with living organisms.

To kick-start the year we invite you for drinks and a Hard Hat tour through the Biotoop! Wander around our amazing new building and be the first to hear about our future plans.

After the New Years reception you may want to to stay around for some food and our first event of 2015: Bierberaad!

About the Biotoop

Within the following months Mediamatic and GreenNest will transform the former DIVV terrain into a cultural hotspot: Biotoop Dijksgracht. A vibrant biotope for inspiration and innovation where you will find a broedplaats, bio-lab/test-kitchen, fermentology restaurant, public garden, aquaponics site, GreenNest Gallery and Bio Art Supplier Store.

But that’s not all! In 2015 the Navy terrain and Dijksgracht will be connected by bridge. Together with Barco Restaurant, Hannekes Boom, Klimmuur Centraal, Shaffy Tuin and GreenNest we are working closely together to give this area its own identity.

Bierberaad

At Bierberaad, you get to taste and learn about the most radical beers around. For this event a ticket (incl. Membership) is required.
