Scent as Storyteller

Odorama: Thursday Feb. 2nd 20:00

It is said that our olfactory receptors are directly connected to the most ancient and primitive part of the brain, which is also thought to be the seat of emotion. So what happens if you let the scent do the talking and use smell to generate a story? At Odorama we will speak with scent expert and chemist Tanja Deurloo, composer Calliope Tsoupaki and artist Martina Florians about their work and the connectivity between smell and our memories, connotations and emotions.
