Workshops on Facebook

Creating a new Facebook event:

1. Go to our Facebook page
2. Make sure you are acting as "Mediamatic" and not "Mediamatic Mod" - to make sure see shortcuts on the bottom left of the screen and click "Mediamatic" that has the icon of Mediamatic written with white background and black text.

4. Go to the Event section and click 'Create Event'
5. Choose "in person" option
6. Add the Event name
7. Select the date and time. For this there are two options, a singular event and a recurring event. If it is a singular event, click the drop down option "End date and time" to choose an end date. If there are multiple dates to the workshop choose "Recurring event" then click "frequency" and select "custom" to choose the dates that the series of workshops take place. Choose all of the dates and when done so, select the time. If the times are the same tick the box "Add this time to all dates".
8. After the dates and times are done, add the text that is also on the web page into the description box.
9. Choose the category "Art"
10. After clicking next, type into the location box "Mediamatic" and select Mediamatic Dijksgracht when it comes up.
11. After clicking next again, choose a suitable cover photo for the event.
12. Click "Admission" and add the Stager ticket link and click save
13. Then click "Event settings" 
14. Leave co-host blank?
15. Display guest list: Yes
16. Choose who can post in your event: Only admins can post
17. People can ask questions about your event on Messenger: Yes
18. Click "save"
19. Click "Publish event"

Adding/removing/adjusting dates to an already exsisting event:

1. Go to our Facebook page
2. Make sure you are acting as "Mediamatic" and not "Mediamatic Mod" - to make sure see shortcuts on the bottom left of the screen and click "Mediamatic" that has the icon of Mediamatic written with white background and black text.
3. Go to the Event section and click on the event you wish to add more dates to.
4. ATTENTION! You can only add more dates to an event on Facebook if it is still happening! If the last date has passed, you can no longer add new dates to it. You must then recreate it as a new event and follow the instructions above. 
5. Click on "Edit"
6. Click on the pencil icon "edit" in the 'schedule multiple events' section.
7. Click on customize
8. Choose the date you wish to add/remove/adjust.
9. Choose the time for the date if it is new and click "done".
10. Click on "next" and finally "update".
11. Check that your date has been added/removed/adjusted on the event page.
