I love touching, caressing. For as long as I can remember, I have been running my fingers along fences, leaves, chairs, people. Everything I can touch, I have to feel. But sound is often very tiring, and smell can be incredibly overwhelming. I have learned that this craving and simultaneous aversion to sensory stimuli has to do with my neurodiversity. With my art, I want to give people the opportunity to pay attention to their sensory experiences. Texture, weight, space, light, facial expressions and pressure on the body are all important considerations and themes.
