MUSIC TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION RESEARCH USER STUDIES CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

My drive is fuelled by progress and innovation. I enjoy being part of a creative team developing new technologies. I have been working at the frontiers of ICT and have been involved in pioneering projects like a digital city in 1993. At Hewlett-Packard’s European research laboratory I worked as psychologist in a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers to invent for the company’s future. I have travelled the
world speaking at seminars and attending conferences to get inspired and to share experiences with other professionals.

Hard working and flexible with excellent communication skills, I am a good manager for creative people. I am currently looking for new opportunities in a dynamic cultural organisation to maximise my experience and qualities. I have a friendly, outgoing and loyal personality and work equally well on my own initiative or
as part of a team. I have a broad experience of teaching at various colleges and universities in the Netherlands from 1990, lecturing about technology, music and media. I have a proven ability to organise and have worked professionally for more than 12 years in the (dance) music industry.

I have a good network in the music & multimedia industries and in academia; I like to link various disciplines together to create exciting projects. I feel inspired by developing new tools for young people to develop their creative potential, stimulate (intercultural) communication and raise social awareness, and introducing them to new knowledge and insights. I am a global citizen and I care about the world around me.
