Come to the hotbed of social and political drama called Mbantua, Alice Springs

Vergroot

Protest at Hartley st. - Jane Clark

I'm a Greens Councillor on the Mbantua Alice Springs Town Council and am from a pioneer Alice Springs family. I'm into social history, social justice and local issues like opposing the nearby (proposed) uranium mine and helping strengthen indigenous languages, art and heritage.

Alice Springs Desert Festival is a time when the town is awash with arts installations, dancing, music and celebration. From choirs singing in exotic outdoor locations to the bush bands bash, it's a joyous time for all - www.alicedesertfestival.com.au

Also, for a unique view of this special city, visit tour operators involved with the new Indigenous Tourism Hub. These tour operations are owned and operated by aboriginal people and offer the most unique cultural view of Alice Springs and surrounds. New companies are starting up in the near future and I would be happy to put you in contact with them.
