Giulia Soldati is an Italian designer currently based in Milan (Italy). After the MA in Social Design at the Design Academy Eindhoven, Giulia Soldati is researching ways to merge the world of food and design, and to make them influence each other. Her work is inspired by food and food cultures. In her design practice, Giulia Soldati uses food as a tool to explore the relationship with our bodies, to push and to question our culture and beliefs, giving shape to new culinary experiences and languages.
Together Tommaso Buresti Giulia has created two amazing Neo Futurist Dinners at Mediamatic. Both were named A La Mano, because it was al about the relationship between the food and our senses. No cutlery was involved and everything was eaten by hand. In this design Giulia and Tommaso made us play with the food and share the food with each other.
Both Giulia and Tommaso had a good time at Mediamatic and loved to come back as part of our team. So from September on you can expect to see them more often in our kitchen!
