Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin formed Studio Formafantasma after graduating from the masters degree in contextual design at the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2009. Since then they have earn numerous awards, appeared in many publications and have work commisioned and acquired by museums, galleries and major design and retail chains.
Their body of work focusses on the research and experimentation of different materials, craftmanship tecniques and their intersection with culture, as well as critical approaches to sustentability
The duo is also involved in diverse workshops and lectures in various educational institutions.
